Golf Mats

About Us

J.R. Mats was the first to introduce a golf mat that could take a real tee at the 2006 PGA show and although that's what got the initial attention the "Real Feel" quickly became the reputation of This great golf mat.

Golf Mats make a great addition to your home, backyard, basement or garage.  It’s hard to get to the course or the range to practice your golf swing as often as us golfers would like.

Adding a commercial golf mat to my backyard was one of the best golf gifts that I ever gave to myself.  Hitting golf balls is a form of meditation for me. It takes me away from the stress of owning a business, meeting a payroll, and number of life’s other problems.

I can hit 50 balls at lunch time when the weathers good and I’m working on an indoor hitting cage net in my shed.  It’s a little tight, but very doable.  The best thing is that my kids are showing some interest in golf and hitting some birdie balls with me.

My touch game has definitely improved due to my backyard practice.  I’ve heard that half of golf is played from 100 yards and in — I bet it’s more like 20-yards and in for mid to high handicappers like me.

The golf mats at retail stores just can’t compare to the Real Feel Golf Mats.
