Almost like taking a divot - replicates what you get on the course.

Very Realistic. It helps me with my teaching. The best part is that it's exactly the same reward and penalty for accurate ball/turf contact.

My personal barefoot beer drinking driving range. I really enjoy the new mat. I am able to hit down & through the mat. It's the same feeling as hitting off a well maintained high end fairway. I am sure to get many years of enjoyment out of this backyard golf upgrade. I started at 9AM and finished about 3PM. I got everything for the install at Home Depot for about $200. During the winter months here in Colorado I can now go 'hit the range' regardless of the weather outside. It's very convenient to have the setup right here so I don't waste the time driving to a range and back again. Finally, what I find myself doing now is reading articles or swing tips online, then being able to head right into the garage and practice what I just read. It is as convenient as having a full range in the backyard! I like the feel to stand on and when swinging through the ball. It has the feel of a fairway, and if I hit it fat, I know it. I also love the fact that I can put a tee in the mat and hit my driver. I am very happy I found your site on the web and ordered the mat from you.During the winter months here in Colorado I can now go 'hit the range' regardless of the weather outside. www.powerlagpro.com – Master your swing plane, take away and fix roll of the wrist. • Promotes Proper Takeaway or one piece Takeaway • Promoted Proper Shaft Plane • Promoted Proper Lag • Promotes Flat Wrist Through Impact •Place and secure the (Wrist and Hand Guide Needle) . •This provides a visual feedback as to where butt of the club is pointing. •BACK SWING 3/4 Position—The tee should be just inside the ball •DOWN SWING: 3/4 Position—The tee should be pointing right at the ball MASTER PROPER HAND POSITION BEFORE, AT AND PAST IMPACT •Naturally un-hinge your wrist through impact, when done properly it will lead to proper squaring of the club face through impact •Notice how the (Wrist and Hand Guide Needle) is pointing downwards, this will ensure that you are hitting down and compressing the ball •Practice this move in front of the mirror or on the range. •Start by hitting 100 to 200 small pitch shots and than move up to 3/4 and full shots

Golf Instruction – Chipping Proper Technique and Drills by Sam Shah

Posted in: Blog by Jay on August 26, 2011

www.PowerLagPro.com – Improving your chipping is a great way to lower your scores instantly with very little effort. The Problem Your hips sway and your wrist and arms break down during your stroke, which leads to a lot of thin or fat shots with typically scooping wrist action. Swaying hips effects the path that your club head takes during the back swing and into the impact zone. When you sway your club head will travel too low to the ground resulting in thin or fat shots. Stabilizing your legs will result in engaging your large muscles in your chest to take over. In order to have a consistent chip shot, the club head should always be ascending going back and descending when you’re hitting chips. In other words, the bottom of your swing arc should occur under or slightly beyond the ball, never before it. DO THIS FOR CRISP CHIP SHOTS 1.Set the club handle slightly forward of your sternum (center of your chest), this encourages a downward angle at impact. 2.Keep your weight centered at your sternum while rotating over your front leg. 3.Hit down and through the ball, as if you are driving a nail in the ground at an angle. 4.At and after impact feel as though your weight is over your front leg. GOAL: (1) Stance — Take a narrow and open stance. (2) Weight — Set the weight forward onto the left foot 60%. (3) Hands — slightly forward, where the butt of the club is pointing slightly inside your left pocket. (4) Flat wrist — keep a flat left writs through impact. (5) Avoid
